Every Monday, outside of the normal 8-Ball tournament which runs from October to April (and unless the Post is closed that Monday), we have a weekly Official Unofficial 9-Ball tournament open to all members and their guests.

At about 6:55pm, we'll draw for teams and start shooting.  If there's an odd number of shooters, we may do individual instead of teams.  If we have four or fewer teams, each match will be a "best of 3" games.  If we have five or more teams, each match will be a single game.  If we run through the bracket quick enough, and enough folks hang around for it, we'll do a second bracket with the same teams (with some rejiggering if shooters are left without a partner).

Standard 9-ball rules apply, except...

We're pretty relaxed about it, so break miscues (if you miss EVERYTHING) are forgiven, and slight taps of the cue ball before your shot are almost always ignored.  Just remember, if you're not shooting in the current game, don't coach from the sidelines (unless ALL those playing in the current match are ok with it).

There is NO monetary prize, simply weekly bragging rights and a photo on the Post Facebook page.
