July 7, 2024(1 event) 12:00 pm: Sunday Funday –
Most Sundays we have a "Sunday Funday". Just bring a dish; entree, appetizer, dessert, drinks, supplies...whatever! Set-up in the hall starts when the Post opens at noon, food at 1pm (ish) through 4 or 5 pm (ish). Cash donations are also accepted in lieu of food/supplies. July 8, 2024(1 event) 6:55 pm: 9-Ball Tournament!!! –
Every Monday, outside of the normal 8-Ball tournament which runs from October to April (and unless the Post is closed that Monday), we have a weekly Official Unofficial 9-Ball tournament open to all members and their guests. At about 6:55pm, we'll draw for teams and start shooting. If there's an odd number of shooters, we may do individual instead of teams. If we have four or fewer teams, each match will be a "best of 3" games. If we have five or more teams, each match will be a single game. If we run through the bracket quick enough, and enough folks hang around for it, we'll do a second bracket with the same teams (with some rejiggering if shooters are left without a partner). Standard 9-ball rules apply, except... We're pretty relaxed about it, so break miscues (if you miss EVERYTHING) are forgiven, and slight taps of the cue ball before your shot are almost always ignored. Just remember, if you're not shooting in the current game, don't coach from the sidelines (unless ALL those playing in the current match are ok with it). July 12, 2024(1 event) 8:00 pm: Ace of Diamonds –
The SAL's Ace of Diamonds drawing occurs at 8pm...ish...each Friday evening. After a winner is drawn, there is no drawing the next week.
